And that's pretty much as deep as it goes for me. But if you don't like the voice actors, watch the subs. The translation job is good, it being the official release and all. Also, the voice actors are usually pretty legit actors and sound quite nice. The DVD release of Princess Mononoke was delayed as a result. I can watch what's going on without having my attention drawn by subs. I prefer the dubbed versions of Ghibli films. Also, the translation can be bad, as mentioned above. However, some dubs can be a bit rubbish, or some prefer the original Japanese voices. Watching it with English audio means you can pay full attention to the visuals. Issues with this include the fact that some people find their attention is diverted from the film when viewing in subs, as they've got to read those to follow what's happening. Sometimes the translation jobs in English dibs are a bit shonky, and subtitling in English is a cheaper way to get a good translation job on your anime. Watching it with Japanese audio and English subtitles is done by those who want an authentic feel.
